Move on over leather jackets! The bomber has been the highlighted trend over the last several seasons, and it’s become the new staple item to have in your closet. This trend has spread like wildfire, and the Spring 2017 runways are introducing bombers with a wide array of colors and floral embroidery.

There’s nothing I love more than a good neutral tone, so I absolutely love this olive colored silk bomber. Neutrals are wardrobe essentials, and their versatility will last through the ups and downs of trends. I chose to wear this jacket over a lace-up body suit, paired with black-coated pants and a Gucci belt. To complete the look I wore my absolute favorite pair of studded booties by Alaia, and kept it casual with a black quilted Chanel backpack.

Now if you don’t own a bomber jacket already, it’s definitely time to get one! I may be a leather jacket junkie, but I’m starting to make room in my closet for some new bombers. Comfy, stylish, and a staple item – what more could you ask for?
